CREDITS

The Helen Victoria Haynes Competition retains the right to use all submitted materials for non-commercial purposes such as publicity or broadcast/cablecast as Public Service Announcements. Proper credit will be given in all situations. Student retains all commercial rights for materials. Sponsors of the Helen Victoria Haynes WORLD PEACE Storyboard & Animation Scholarship Competition are not liable for any decisions and actions taken by the Helen Victoria Haynes WORLD PEACE Organization, which is solely responsible for this Competition.

     

PUBLIC SCREENING, DISPLAY, ARCHIVAL
Any Storyboards, Applications and Support Materials may be displayed publicly at the Midwest Animators Conference & Retreat or KAFI. DISPLAY IS NOT GUARANTEED. Any Storyboards, Applications and Support Materials may be retained in the Competition archives. RETENTION IN THE ARCHIVES IS NOT GUARANTEED. Winning animations may be screened at subsequent Midwest Animators Conferences or KAFI (Kalamzoo Animation Festival International). PUBLIC SCREENING IS NOT GUARANTEED. Display, retention and public screenings are at the discretion of the Helen Victoria Haynes WORLD PEACE Foundation governing committee.
     

FORFEITURE / DISQUALIFICATIONS

Winning entry failing to submit required Support Material before 12:00 midnight May 30, 2008 will be disqualified. In the case of a disqualified entry, the prizes may be awarded to another finalist at the discretion of the Helen Victoria Haynes WORLD PEACE Organization Board of Directors. If the completed animation is not received by 12:00 midnight April 1, 2009 in Year 2, then the Winner forfeits all prizes and remaining $1,000 check.  Storyboards, Applications and Support Materials will not be returned under any circumstances. No exceptions.
