COMPETITION FINALS & HONORABLE MENTION

There can be a maximum total of 100 points per judge.

Entries must receive a minimum of 50 points per number of judges to advance to the Competition Finals. For example, if there are 10 judges on the panel, an entry must receive a minimum of 500 points to advance to the Finals. If 5 judges, minimum is 250 points, and so on.

If no entries are submitted, or if entries submitted do not receive the minimum points, there will be no finalists. In the event of no finalists, no First Place or Second Place prizes will be awarded.  However, if an entry that has not advanced to the Competition Finals shows some merit in the judges opinion, it is possible that the entry may be awarded an Honorable Mention.

FORFEITURE / DISQUALIFICATIONS

Winning entry failing to submit required Support Material before 12:00 midnight May 30, 2007 will be disqualified.

In the case of a disqualified entry, the prizes may be awarded to another finalist at the discretion of the Helen V. Haynes WORLD PEACE Organization Board of Directors. If the completed animation is not received by 12:00 midnight April 1, 2008 in Year 2, then the Winner forfeits all prizes and remaining $1,000 check.  Storyboards, Applications and Support Materials will not be returned under any circumstances. No exceptions.
