| The first $500 prize is a grant intended to be used by the Grand Prize Winner as 'seed funding’ to develop, document and complete this short animation project based on the theme: 'How to Achieve World Peace'. You must use this first $500, with Faculty Advisor’s guidance, towards producing an original animation, based on your winning Storyboard. This prize will be sent to you upon our receipt of the Faculty Advisor’s Support Materials. | ||

| The student will receive a $1000. (USD) prize upon submission of the completed animation project within the specified deadline. In addition, the student will receive the Vickie Award trophy and Peace Pole at the Awards Ceremony. | ||
| 'VICKIE' AWARDS | ||
omplimentary seating for 2 is non-transferable & is forfeited if Winner is not in attendance for the scheduled 'Vickie' Awards Ceremony at the Midwest Animators Conference & Retreat or the Kalamazoo Animation Festival International. |

| TRANSPORTATION & MEALS ARE NOT PROVIDED | ||
| Transportation to/from the 'Vickie' Awards Ceremony is not provided, and is the sole responsibility of the First Place Winner. Lodging and Meals are not provided for Winners, Faculty Advisors, Guardians, Companions, Escorts, Children or Spouses. Lodging and meals and transportation are the sole responsibility of the Winners. | ||
